We're looking for a dedicated DVM to join us for 8-hour shifts on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. This isn't just a role; it's a chance to make a real impact, providing comprehensive care that spans:

What You'll Bring

We're seeking a DVM who is not only clinically excellent but also a true team player:

  • Valid California veterinary license with 3+ years of clinical experience.
  • Exceptional clinical skills and a robust knowledge of veterinary medicine.
  • A professional demeanor and genuine sensitivity towards patients, clients, and staff.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for clear, empathetic interactions.
  • A collaborative spirit and a desire to contribute positively to our team environment.

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Perform animal examinations to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries
  • Treat sick or injured animals by providing appropriate care
  • Perform and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
  • Administer anesthetics, perform surgeries, monitor patients during surgery and recovery with the assistance of the technical team
  • Follow and create discharge & treatment plan guidelines for patients
  • Communicate updates with clients via phone, email, and/or chat service
  • Educate pet owners about animal care, prevention, and disease
  • Humanely euthanize animals when it has been mutually agreed upon by the patient's owner
  • Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
